iShares Equal Weight Banc & Lifeco Fund - CEW

ETF Overview

The fund has been created to provide investors with a diversified equal weighted investment in a portfolio of Canadian banks and life insurance companies. CEW invests, on an equally weighted basis, in common shares of the largest Canadian banks and Canadian life insurance companies.

Inclusion in the CEW Portfolio is based on the following criteria:

The Portfolio will be rebalanced (i) semi-annually, to adjust for changes in the market value of investments; and (ii) to reflect the impact of a merger, acquisition or other significant corporate action or event affecting one or more of the Canadian banks or life insurance companies in the CEW Portfolio.

This fund is one of the few iShares Canada ETFs that have an active mandate (), not passive ().
