ETF Overview

The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the MSCI World Index, net of expenses.

The MSCI World Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index provided by MSCI that is designed to measure the equity market performance of developed markets.

The investment strategy of XWD is to invest primarily in shares of U.S. iShares Funds that seek investment results that correspond generally to the applicable index.

This fund presently invests in these U.S. iShares ETFs:

iShares Core S&P 500 ETF [US-based iShares ETF]
iShares MSCI EAFE ETF [US-based iShares ETF]
iShares S&P/TSX 60 Index ETF [Canada-based iShares ETF]

The MSCI World Index captures large and mid cap representation across 24 Developed Markets (DM) countries. With 1,606 constituents, the index covers approximately 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in each country.
