The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the MSCI World Index, net of expenses.

The MSCI World Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index provided by MSCI that is designed to measure the equity market performance of developed markets.

The investment strategy of XWD is to invest primarily in shares of U.S. iShares Funds that seek investment results that correspond generally to the applicable index.
