ETF Sage
Canadian ETF knowledgebase
The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index, net of expenses.
The Index is comprised of the smaller (by market capitalization) securities listed on the TSX, selected by S&P using its industrial classifications and guidelines for evaluating issuer capitalization, liquidity and fundamentals.
The S&P/TSX SmallCap Index provides an investable index for the Canadian small cap market.
The index is float adjusted and market cap weighted and was developed with industry input as the ideal benchmark for those with small cap exposure of the Canadian equity market.
