The fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index through investments in the constituent issuers of such index, net of expenses.
The S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index is defined using GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) sector classifications.
To be a constituent of the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Index, a stock must be a constituent of the S&P/TSX Composite and will be classified in the relevant GICS category.
The S&P Capped Materials Index includes all industry groups such as Chemicals, Construction Materials, Containers & Packaging, Metals & Mining and Paper & Forest Products.
The relative weight of any single index constituent is capped at 25%.
